'I Love Her' by Charlie Stotter

I love her.

Those round edges.

Comes in snappy.

Bells in my ears.

STOP ALL WORK!

She stops my tears,

She can’t really see them.

Of course she can’t,

She has no eyes.

I’d spend hours with her,

Watching everything she does.

Sometimes I’d get messages.

It is a distraction,

It is a reaction.

Fabricated love.

Too human.

It’s not perfect,

Doesn’t give me what I want,

What I need.

Just a seed, an egg

Life and death

That’s its purpose.

Not like hers

She knows all

She is all

Everything, I need it

We all do.

For some it’s a he,

A see,

a where,

a calculator,

money,

Love

Is how I idealise her.
