There's an endless morning dew

sitting beneath the coming morning.

It's like soft liquor.

I can feel it

through my window

as I wake up,

from the meadow

I'll admit, I like it

now.

There's a gravestone put there I think

before anyone was under it.

We're the breath of this place,

and you can see it

on the dewy grass.

I sit and wait here for a while,

cold stone against my shoulder

and come up with the morning.
