Take a trip down to the Victoria and Albert Museum and take a look.
What’s on offer? A whole vision of the world from some of the country’s finest architectural visionaries – made in gingerbread.
Actually, it’s made of gingerbread, sweets and every kind of delicious edible. It’s a seasonal treat for the eye, even if it is slightly frustrating; it smells delicious and is sadly not available for consumption, so don’t go on an empty stomach. It’s free, although you may need to queue.
Do go; it is full of the wonder and delight of the season and it has nothing to do with materialism and everything to do with imagination.
